NEW TO SPRINGFIELD? This is your invitation to join us in a variety of activities that will acquaint you with our city, places of interest, and most of all- NEW FRIENDS!

WHEN DO WE MEET? The General Meetings for all members are bi-monthly in February, April, June, August, October and December. They are the third Tuesday of these months at 7pm.

We offer over 20 interest groups that meet on a regular basis- so there's something for everyone!
BI-MONTHLY we feature a different program, event, or guest, on a wide variety of topics. The meeting location and program is announced in the State Journal-Register and in our newsletter The Chatter, as well as on this website. Reservations are required for some meetings, so please call ahead so we can make you feel especially welcome!
OUR
INTEREST GROUPS MEETING REGULARLY
AT VARIOUS TIMES DURING THE MONTH:
Book Club, Breakfast, Bridge (1st & 3 Thursdays, beginning &
restaurant), Bunco, Canasta (afternoon & evening), Casual Get-Together*,
Dining Out*, Golf, Good 'n Easy Cooking, Gourmet Cooking*, Movies & More, Out
to Lunch Bunch, Pinochle*, Scrapbooking, Walking Group and Wine Tasting*
(*Some interest groups include spouses or significant others on a regular basis providing a great way for couples to socialize and make new friends.)

HELPING THE COMMUNITY: Each year Newcomers choose a local charity or agencies to support in various ways as a Community Service Project. By raising funds or collecting practical items our membership strives to reach out in support. Another way we take pride in our community and share our resources.

HOW DO I JOIN? Membership is open to all women who have recently moved
to
or relocated within the greater Springfield area. Although we look forward
to meeting you if you are new to the community, we also welcome new members if
you have lived in Springfield for some time. Membership is not contingent on
your length of residence in the Springfield area. If you are interested in
joining, we invite you to be a guest at two of our meetings before membership

DUES: Annual dues are $25 which include a subscription to our monthly newsletter The Chatter and an annually published Membership Directory. The Chatter is full of information about the club's activities including dates, times, and locations, member news, and much more.
